Maya Book (mayabook.in) is a booking app for mehendi artists, run by Inforns IT Solutions, India. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. It follows the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

Information we collect

Google sign-in: your name, email address and profile picture, used only to create and open your account.
Profile details you enter: name, mobile number, business name, city, UPI ID, Instagram, experience, styles, work preferences, date of birth and marital status. Your birth date and marital status are private; only your age is shown to artists you connect with.
Business data you add: bookings, clients, enquiries, payments, invoices, expenses, team members, designs, notes and settings.
From your clients: details they send through your booking form or review page, such as name, WhatsApp number, event details, venue location, photos and payment screenshots.
Technical data: the time you last used the app, device type and basic logs needed to keep the service secure.

How we use it

To run the app for you and show your data on your devices
To send notifications you switch on
To show your public booking page and, if you choose, your profile in the artist network
To give support, prevent misuse and keep the service secure
To manage plans and billing

We do not sell your data or your clients’ data, and we do not show ads.

Who can see your information

You and your team members you add.
Your clients see your business name, logo, city and booking page.
Other artists in the network see your business, city and styles. After you connect, they also see your full name, mobile number, age, experience, work preferences and reviews. Your free dates are shared only with the Maya Book team.
Maya Book support staff can see account details when needed for support, safety and misuse checks.
Service providers who host our servers (Hostinger) and Google for sign-in. They process data only for us.
Authorities, if the law requires it.

Google Drive and Google Photos

If you choose to connect them, Maya Book uses Google Drive only to save and open files the app itself creates (such as design photos and backups), and the Google Photos picker only to let you pick photos you choose. We do not read other files in your Drive or Photos.

Maya Book’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Cookies and storage

We use one sign-in cookie to keep you logged in, and your browser’s storage to make the app work offline. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Storage and security

Data is stored on secure servers in our hosting provider’s data centres, sent over HTTPS, and access is limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your Google account safe.

How long we keep data

We keep your data while your account is open. If you delete your account, your data is removed from our live systems straight away and from backups within 30 days, unless the law needs us to keep something longer.

Your rights

You can see and correct your data in the app, download a backup, and delete your account from Settings. You can also ask us for a copy, correction or deletion, or withdraw consent, by writing to us.

Children

Maya Book is for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We will post any change here and tell you in the app if it is important.
